About Aigoo LyricsOn October 4, 2005, when Soompi came back from its awful crash, I made a thread in the lyrics forum for Korean Romanization Requests. Soon after, I'd romanized enough lyrics for friends to ask, "Why don't you just make a site?"And so I did. I put the lyrics on my site (provided by Olli) - huay.aigoo.net - adding on to my playlist that I used for requests for aFradio. Just days before the planned launch of Aigoo Lyrics, Jenny (fantasy916) offered to put her Chinese pinyin on the site. Aigoo Lyrics launched on January 27, 2006 with about 200 Korean Romanizations and 150 Chinese pinyin. On April 20, 2006, Jessica (J.J.) offered to help with Japanese romanizations =D. Anie (HeartlessSoul) also asked if I needed help with Japanese and Chinese romanizations. Sadly, due to my slowness, I never put up their Japanese lyrics yet. On July 26, 2006, a day before the half-year anniversary of Aigoo Lyrics, I put up a lame sign thingy that said a new layout was coming soon. It never came. During this period of no-layout-ness, I continued planning the site in my head. After brainstorming names and whatnot, on August 2, 2006, www.aigoolyrics.net was purchased. 9 days later, on August 11, 2006, Seung (Eunnie) asked if I had translations on my site. Within the hour, I decided that Aigoo Lyrics would have not only Korean, Chinese, and Japanese romanizations, but translations for all three languages as well. In the soompi lyrics forums, I would constantly be 'scouting' people -- ie; I attacked Jen (busnumber) and Gina (Gina) about their Korean Translation Threads. There was a temporary page up for a good few months that stated the re-launch of Aigoo Lyrics. I changed it about four times (from November 1 to November 11 to before the end of December to before the beginning of the year.) Being the awesome person I am, I failed to meet all four of those dates, so finally I decided, 'let's launch the site the same day it was first launched -- the 27th.' And we're finally back up and running... Thanks to everyone on the Aigoo Lyrics Team, FOALs, and others, including requesters from Soompi and elsewhere.
